Naremburn

Up hill and down dale" describes Naremburn's topography. It is an established residential area where development of Sydney's Lower North Shore first began in the 1850s. In the 1990s, the construction of the Gore Hill Freeway divided the suburb in two, resulting in many apartments replacing former workers’ cottages while still retaining as much green space as possible. On weekends, families may enjoy a walk to Naremburn's small shopping strip on Willoughby Road, or tackle a 10 minute walk to the bustling Crows Nest shopping hub. Leisure activities can also be found in the local Naremburn Park and Tunks Park West.
